Week 28 - Bringing people together

What happens when you put like minded souls together and let them fish together, eat together, smile and share memories together? You create Kengis feeling.

To see a new group at Kengis Bruk going from not knowing each other to fishing together and having dinner together is magic and why we care so much about our Kengis feeling.

It was a difficult week with ups and downs. Water level going down and sun arriving at Kengis made the conditions difficult, but our guests kept on swinging flies and enjoying the feeling and the fishing.

And with the right mindset our friends had a great week, meeting new people and fishing for the mighty baltic salmon.

At the end of the week we searched for more fast running water and we started to see some action.

Karl and Erik are returning guests from the USA and they are both hard working and good fishermen.

Erik was the first to land a fish this week and another great sized fish at 94cm July fish from Kengis Bruk.

In the following days we had some action with lost fish and on the very last day Karl managed to land another fish for the week.

After some lost fish Karl managed to land a good fish 78cm from the faster water. The hard work paid off.

Such a pleasure to see father and son creating memories together and both landing fish in difficult conditions.

It was a week where Pekka got more into fly fishing for salmon, Johan and Magnus had time for some good riverside talks and the general feeling was a good mix of holiday and fishing.

It is good to sometimes sit back, enjoy nature and think about how lucky we are to fish in a wild river for wild Baltic salmon.

Thank you for coming to Kengis Bruk and see you guys again.

Tight lines!
