Week 25 - Biggest fish so far

Big Baltic salmon, in many ways what drives us all winter and what keeps our waters wet all summer.

This blog is about what happens when you put like minded people from around Europe at the same place in a week where fish are moving and smiles are big!

After a great week last week we had high hopes for this week, but as we all know fishing salmon can be difficult and strange sometimes, but that we all forget when we land big Baltic salmon.

Erik was the first one to feel the power of the Baltic salmon and landed a good sized fish from the boat pool.

After an intense fight, a quick picture could release this beauty back where it belongs.

Then David had the chance and felt the power of the strong fish passing Kengis Bruk, but next time he will bring better hooks. That is the name of the game.

Biggest fish of the season!

Right before the rotation ended Robert was debating with himself if he should take one last round before the break. And he will never regret that decision. Ville and Fred almost forced him in the water and Robert got what he came for!

115cm wild baltic salmon. What a dream fish! And well done Robert.

Such an amazing experience for everyone around, but very special for Robert.

This week we celebrated midsummer in Sweden and with everyone around the fire sharing a fantastic dinner and someone fishing, that was the perfect way to celebrate!

Then Simon did the job and landed a good fish to end the week and David got his revenge and ended his week with a good 95cm fish.

All in all a great week!

And when we look at the guests we have at Kengis Bruk, one thing stands out - The Kengis feeling.

To bring people together, seeing them sharing meals with people they did not know before this week and smiles all around.

That is true Kengis feeling.
