Week 26 Another good week
So far it has been a really good season for us and it continues.
With the right water conditions, weather conditions and fish running past Kengis Bruk we have had great fishing. Fish landed and lost in all weeks so far. Will it continue? We hope so.
This week we welcomed our friends, Richard, Shaun, Patrick, Pyry, Marko & Niko.
Great to see good friends again and they know how to swing the flies at Kengis Bruk.
Pyry was the first one to land another great fish from Kengis. One more to keep the good average.
Great start and great work Pyry.
We had a week with lower water than the previous weeks and our friends had to fish hard to get the chances.
Patrick managed to land two fish this week and went home with a big smile and a return ticket for next season.
And he even had to get a little support during a fight when the reel fell off. What a chaos, but a great story and brings back smiles when told.
And Niko ended the week with one more for the books and with a big smile.
Average size baltic salmon:
Facts first; This season we have landed 34 baltic salmon so far. And we have an average length of 94cm (37inch)
That is on 3km of private fishing water, with 26 friends fishing.
We might not be the destination in the world with the most fish on land, but with an average length over 90cm we can say that we are a big fish destination.
And honesty is a great value for us. We tell our guests not to come for numbers, but for the big fish. Sometimes it can happen and we have weeks with both big fish and good numbers, but in the end. Come for the challenge of a big baltic salmon.
That is the reason to come visit us. To have the chance to fight a big Baltic salmon.
Biggest fish so far a fantastic fish measuring 115cm by Robert and who knows? We might land one bigger. There are still two months left of the season.
Tight lines!
