Week 26 - Another week with good friends

And high hopes! This group knows Kengis Bruk very well and are usually good for a fish or two during the week, but this week was different.

Chance started the week with losing a big fish in zone 3 and it looked like a good week to come.

But it's like the season has not really started yet.

The conditions are looking good. Water flow and temperature is good and the amount of fish passing the fish counter is also decent. So why the late start?

Well…. that is what drives us all to a deep salmon confusion once in a while.

We think we know and then we don't know and all of a sudden we know it all.

But that is also the charm of baltic salmon fishing.

We ended this week with two lost fish and the big question; When will the season really start for us.

What do we remember from this week?

When you put together likeminded people and their families from all over the world you create memories.

In many ways it's the essence of salmon fishing. Spending time with friends and families in an environment based on nature and what they all love to do.

The Baltic salmon then comes as a bonus. And yes, we all fish for that bonus, but its the hours in between we sometimes remember the best and drive us to keep the fly in the water.

Thank you David, Patrick, Guy, Ralf, Reinhold, Chance, Oscar, Jiho & Waldemar for a great week! See you next year.

And let's cross fingers that next week will be a little more about the bonus we all fish for.

Tight lines!
