Week 28 Will Oscar catch another salmon?

It’s time to look back at week 28 at Kengis Bruk. It was a week with good action and smiles all over.

Chance and his family was here for two weeks this season and Chance got the best start of the week you could imagine. A round in Boat pool and he hooked in to another Baltic salmon. The Chen’s really know how to find and hook the fish at Kengis.

Jussi and his friends fished hard all week and got in contact with many fish. Jussi lost 5 fish and another guests will most likely never fish with a reel with only a hand brake. He went home with a burn on his hand and a good memory from Kengis.

It is always nice to see our guests gathering around a good fire and enjoy the fishing and environment at the river. John Poul was visiting from Ireland was used to smaller rivers, but he enjoyed the big rivers and the scenery. You can bring many good experiences back home from a fishing trip.

In this week we got a lot of rain in the area and the water started rising quite fast. That always makes the fishing more difficult, but back to the question from the headline. Oscar did catch a fish this week again. It is such a pleasure to support young fishermen that are into baltic salmon fishing.

Memories that Chance and Oscar will remember for a long time.

All in all a week with conditions that changed a lot, but we ended up with two landed fish, many lost and a broken reel.

Thank you for coming back to Kengis and visiting us.

Week 29 is waiting for us and it will be interesting to see how the high water will affect the fishing.

Tight lines!
