Week 32 Remember to smile

In week 32 we had the pleasure to welcome back old Kengis friends and new friends.

To feel the support to Kengis over the past year is something that we really appreciate and even though it is a tough year we will still see smiles on our faces and this is something to remember.

Catching a baltic salmon is difficult and in 2023 it is really difficult! So when it happens it is something really special.

We welcomed back Pyry and his friends and they are really good at taking scenic pictures, so when the salmon did striked the flies they spent some time with the camera and shot some amazing pictures.

Andy from the USA had his first visit at Kengis Bruk this summer and that is something special. We have moved his Kengis trip several times because of the covid situation and the long travel from America to Lapland. This year it happened and Andy was lucky to catch a grilse and in a year like 2023 that is for sure a story to remember.

We hope to see you back Andy.

Juho and Andy had good times at the river and it is great to see that when we are fishing baltic salmon it does not matter if you are from Finland or USA, you just want to have fun and spend time at the river. Keep up the smiles Andy & Juho.

Next week we welcome back our friends from earlier in the season. Let’s hope the fish will stop and start getting interested in the flies!

Tight lines!
